How It Works

Easy Installation Video

Step #1

Level the post with braces to the front and side

Step #2

Dig down to the top of the cement surface, and clear away as much dirt as possible, preferably at least two inches around the entire circumference of the existing cement foundation

Step #3

Push the post doctor flush to the outside walls of the post. Gently hammer it in place if necessary, tap the bottom of all three spikes so that they can make easy penetration into the wood below the cement surface.

Step #4

Hold The Post Doctor against post and begin hammering on upper middle edge and alternating between all upper edges until The Post Doctor goes down into the below grade timber evenly and comes to rest flush on concrete

Step #5

Screw The Post Doctor to post on all 3 sides with provided wood screws

Step #6

Drill hole through post using suppled 5/16" hole bit and run it thru the 3/8" opening on the left side of The Post Doctor and straight to the 1/2" hole on the right side.

Step #7

Place supplied hex head bolt with washer through drilled hole tap through place washer and nut at other end and tighten

Step #8

Mix supplied concrete and pour around base of The Post Doctor, fill any cracks, finish smooth
